Despite the Alcoholism, and PTSD...
I watched season 1 of Jessica Jones on Netflix and I have to say... I loved it! I will try to refrain from posting spoilers in this post to the best of my ability.
"Jessica Jones" is based in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and tells the story of Jessica Jones, an ex-superhero (attempted) turned Private detective in New York City. Supposedly near Hell's Kitchen, the place Daredevil is from (That is the next show to watch). After Jones' tragic end to her superhero career, Jones mostly deals with cases that relate to others with extraordinary abilities.
I just love how blunt and rough around the edges Jones's character is and how she is very dry and sarcastic and speaks her mind even if that means she has to be mean. Krysten Ritter is the actress that portrays Jessica Jones and my, she does it well!
Also, David Tennant? Enough said.
