I get to explore different Disney film's histories, pop culture and other fun facts.
While thinking of design aspects and titles I looked at a lot of Disney puns...

Close to my heart... Or brain?

"Book good, totes read it" - The owner I borrowed the book from...

I borrowed this book from a friend and so far it is amazing, so I thought I would share. Written by author Mira Grant, the story follows the exploits of a team of bloggers during the zombie apocalypse.

News blogger Georgia Mason and her adventuring brother Shaun along with a tech savvy romance blogger Buffy are enlisted to document the campaign of an up and coming Presidential candidate.Throw in guns, chase scenes and surveillance that comes pretty close to spy wear and you have a typical adventure novel... And then spice the dish with some ZOMBIES! 

Zombies were created when the human race cured cancer... and the common cold... and death... Obviously something bad is going to happen right? Every dystopian novel has something specifically bad which happened in the past to change society and social norms. In this case it was zombies. 

So far I am really enjoying this book and am interested in where it is going. It's also a trilogy so two more after this one!!

Back again.

I'm back once more!

Let's see how long it lasts, yes?

It has been a very long week. I have finished this semester of Uni and I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. Many university students are studying for exams currently, the boyfriend included, and stress levels are high. I'm actually surprised while walking around campus I haven't seen more people crying over their books and computers. Completely amazing. 

And then there's my opinion on Tabby's dilemma...

  

Tabby is one of the most amazing people I know! An insanely smart, beautiful and talented friend. She should be treasured, always.

When you've been stood up...

You can only imagine the horror...
You've picked out a nice dress, put on some makeup, shaved your legs and done your hair and...
Your date doesn't show.
You made the effort to leave the comfort of your own home and this is what happens.

1. Get angry - it's your right.

2. Call a friend to hang out with - if you were planning to see a movie or go out for pizza go ahead and do it with your friend.
3. If your friends can't hang out then chill at home, watch a funny movie and eat your favourite foods.

P.S Yeah I got stood up today (We were supposed to see Finding Dory) and now I'm watching Paul with a nice glass of wine and some cake.

Disney MAKEUP!

Specifically, Eyes.

I was scrolling through google images looking for something to post today when I came across eye shadow art. So I have compiled a bunch of Disney related looks to share today. Alot of these are done with eyeliners, body paint, and just regular shadows... Maybe with a bit of glitter thrown in.

So pretty. I particularly love the last two containing Toothless and Baymax cuddling the "hairy baby" ahaha. I just love how creative people in this world can be. The range of colours and the precision used in these works of art are beautiful.

My weekend

My legs hurt from all that dancing...

I went into town on Saturday night again and got very drunk, danced with some gorgeous girls that I barely remember the names of and danced the entire choreography to Gangnam Style... I'm a dork, but people looked pretty impressed I could do it drunk. HAHA

Downsides to going into town on the weekend? Even if you dress conservatively like I did, dirty old men grope you on the dance floor, ew. Even after you push them aside and shake your head, you get a tap on the booty! To be fair, it was about 4a.m...

I stumbled home at 5:30 Sunday morning, drank a litre of water, woke my mum up accidentally and went to sleep. Two days and a gym session later? My legs are still killing me from all that dancing! Also if anyone sees a picture of me on the internet somewhere that is probably dark and blurry, it was taken by another creepy old man. Weirdos.

Sidenote: Season 5's finale of the Vampire Diaries destroyed me. More to come in a later post this week.
